Gulaal : Colours of Emotion

"Colors, like features, follow the changes of the emotions."

"The world is your kaleidoscope, and the varying combinations of colors which at every succeeding moment it presents to you are the exquisitely adjusted pictures of your ever-moving thoughts."

James Allen.

Gulaal is all about these emotional colors. We take them from life, mix them and play with them. We neither put them on canvas nor design them in a kaleidoscope. We drip them on our faces, our words, our voices and silences. Here we are in colors and shades-

  2. "Main akela hi chala tha janib-e-manzil magar, humsafar milte gaye aur karwaan banta gaya." How well this suits Anirban, and the idea, the aspiration, the determination of one man, that we now know as Gulaal. I am waiting with abaited breath, running heartbeat, increased perpiration, trembling feet, stammering speech, and not to mention bitten fingernails, for the day when i am colored with vivid vibrant vivacious varying colors of gulaal. I wonder what would that color be called. I am happy calling it the color of happiness.
"it's such a little thing to smile, so short a thing to sigh, and yet by trades the size of these, we men and women die."
